A Assembleia Legislativa, por intermédio da Diretoria de Saúde, realizará, em articulação com a Secretaria de Saúde do Estado (SES) e outros órgãos e entidades, a partir desta quarta-feira (22) e ao longo do ano, atividades alusivas à campanha “Janeiro Branco”, um convite ao cuidado com a qualidade de vida e a busca pela felicidade. O diretor de Saúde da Casa, Costa Júnior, afirmou que o foco será a saúde dos servidores.
A campanha foi criada em 2014, em Minas Gerais, e é promovida por psicólogos. O mês de janeiro foi escolhido por representar, simbólica e culturalmente, um período de renovação de esperanças e projetos na vida das pessoas.

“O diferencial da campanha deste ano é o recorte na saúde do trabalhador. Nós percebemos que muitos adoecem, muitas das vezes, em consequência de um ambiente profissional com carga de pressões, obrigações e de rotina de trabalho. Tudo isso afeta a saúde das pessoas. Todos nós podemos ter problemas emocionais em consequência da nossa carga genética. Orientar e prevenir nossos servidores, neste caso, é uma determinação do presidente Othelino Neto. Por isso, uma equipe multidisciplinar percorrerá todos os setores da Casa e desenvolverá atividades preventivas“, esclareceu Costa Júnior.
Para a psicóloga do Setor Médico da Assembleia, Flávia Uchôa, a campanha quebra o tabu de que saúde mental é algo que deve ficar de lado. “Não! Saúde mental é muito importante. Tanto que a Organização Mundial de Saúde (OMS) diz que ter saúde mental é um estado de equilíbrio. Para se ter esse equilíbrio, é preciso que as áreas profissional e afetiva estejam dialogando e em equilíbrio. Às vezes, a gente coloca todas as energias na área profissional e esquece que as outras áreas precisam ser contempladas. E isto pode levar a uma doença”, complementou.

Segundo Flávia Uchôa, a campanha “Janeiro Branco” não deve ser desenvolvida só no mês de janeiro, mas o ano inteiro. “Geralmente, é nesse momento, no início do ano, que a gente se planeja, estabelece metas como, por exemplo, querer emagrecer. Daí a proposta de se trabalhar no mês de janeiro as questões emocionais. O objetivo é fazer com que as pessoas acordem para a importância da saúde mental”, salientou.
A vereadora Maria Paz e o médico Cláudio Paz prestigiaram mais uma vez, a Corrida de São Sebastião promovida pela Prefeitura Municipal de Codó, que atraiu milhares de pessoas.

Será inaugurada, em fevereiro, a nova sede da biblioteca do Campus do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Maranhão- IFMA, em Caxias. Um sonho antigo de toda a comunidade acadêmica da região, a obra só foi possível graças ao empenho do senador Roberto Rocha (PSDB), que destinou recurso extra orçamentário no valor de R$ 2,1 milhão, por meio do Ministério da Educação, em dezembro de 2017.
Nova biblioteca, pronta pra inaugurar
De acordo com o projeto, a nova biblioteca é seis vezes maior que a atual, ocupando um espaço de 1.149 m2, comportando 37 estantes de dupla face, 18 mesas para estudos e 18 terminais de pesquisas com computadores. O espaço para catalogação passou a ser de 49,66 m2 e o de atendimento, 49.66 m2. A obra contemplou, ainda um espaço para administração de 24.37m2. O destaque especial da nova biblioteca foi a construção de um auditório com capacidade para cerca de 50 pessoas, numa área de aproximadamente 100 m2.
Além da concepção arquitetônica e a aquisição de tecnologias avançadas, o projeto ofereceu especial atenção para a acessibilidade, com rampas de acesso para cadeira de rodas e banheiros adaptados para pessoas com deficiência.
O diretor-geral do IFMA, João da Paixão Soares, agradeceu ao senador e destacou que a nova biblioteca vai atender não só aos alunos e professores do IFMA, mas a toda comunidade de Caxias e região.
“Agradecemos ao senador Roberto Rocha pela atenção dedicada ao Instituto, em especial ao nosso Campus. Essa emenda parlamentar é um recurso importante para o fortalecimento do Campus Caxias, pois temos somente oito anos de fundação, e esses recursos serão fundamentais para atuação do instituto em prol da educação profissional e tecnológica de Caxias e região”, disse o diretor.
Em maio de 2019, por ocasião de uma visita à obra já em andamento, o senador Roberto Rocha assegurou também, para o IFMA de Caxias, recursos na ordem de R$ 2 milhões para a construção de um moderno anfiteatro com capacidade para 450 pessoas. O espaço servirá para apresentações do âmbito universitários, simpósios, congressos e apresentações diversas culturais diversas.
“O acesso ao conhecimento precisa começar cedo, logo após a alfabetização, quando descobrimos o poder das palavras e até onde elas podem nos levar. E o espaço da biblioteca é um ambiente ideal que oferece na leitura a oportunidade de formatar ideias, estabelecer sensos críticos e de vislumbrar o conhecimento intelectual bastante alto para estudantes de todas as idades”, ressaltou o parlamentar maranhense.
