Codó, uma das maiores cidades do interior do Maranhão com cerca de 120 mil habitantes e 123 anos de emancipação política, até os dias de hoje ainda não disponibilizou vagas em concurso público para vigilantes e zeladores, profissionais estes que ao longo dos anos ingressam no serviço público através da antidemocrática, maléfica e ultrapassada prática da INDICAÇÃO POLÍTICA. São contratados e/ou terceirizados tendo com isto muitos de seus direitos negados como por exemplo o 13° salário, entre outros, … destacamos também o fato de que logo no início deste ano muitos desses profissionais terão seus vencimentos suspensos e/ou reduzidos pela metade numa atitude no mínimo cruel e desrespeitosa por parte tanto da empresa gerenciar quanto da prefeitura.
É bom ressaltar que muitas dessas indicações são feitas por parlamentares que diante de toda esta aberração cruzam os braços e ficam caladinhos assistindo a todo este descaso, desvalorização e exploração desses trabalhadores!

Ser uma empresa cada vez melhor para seus clientes e levar energia de qualidade é o que a Equatorial Maranhão vem construindo ao longo dos últimos anos. E para celebrar as alegrias de 2019, a Empresa contemplou 2.900 famílias com a troca de novas geladeiras. Em 2018 foram trocadas 2.280 geladeiras velhas.
O Programa de Eficiência Energética da Equatorial reforça por meio da troca de geladeiras o consumo consciente, além disso, contempla as famílias de baixa renda. Além das ações programadas da empresa, em abril de 2019 foram entregues 240 novas geladeiras para as famílias em vulnerabilidade social que foram atingidas pelas fortes chuvas em Imperatriz e São Luís.
As ações visam também valorizar as famílias que estão adimplentes com a empresa. Neste ano, as trocas aconteceram nos municípios de Açailândia, Araioses, Balsas, Poção de Pedras, São Bento, Benedito Leite, Pedreiras, Presidente Sarney, Bacabeira, Formosa da Serra Negra, Buriticupu, Imperatriz, São Luís entre outros municípios do Estado.
Para a Executiva de Relacionamento com o Cliente da Equatorial Maranhão, Mirelly Carvalho, essas ações buscam valorizar os clientes que não tem condições de comprar uma geladeira mais eficiente. “A Equatorial Maranhão em todo o Estado se preocupa substancialmente com os seus consumidores. As trocas e doações de geladeiras enfatizam ainda mais esse zelo. Além do cliente usufruir de uma geladeira nova e mais econômica, também é uma forma de preservar o meio ambiente com o consumo racional de energia elétrica”, ressaltou Mirelly.

Usuários frequentadores das praças públicas de Codó que procuram acessar a internet “Codó Digital” reclamam da instabilidade dos pontos de acesso Wi-fi. Serviço que deveria estar modernizado vira alvo de reclamação.
Um dos objetivos do projeto “Codó Digital” é promover a inclusão digital, através do acesso gratuito à internet em praças públicas. Estes locais de acesso são chamados “Pontos de Acesso Wi-fi”, a internet é “disponibilizada” através da Prefeitura Municipal.
Um jovem codoense que frequenta as principais praças da cidade reclama, que ao conectar a internet não consegue receber nenhuma mensagem e diz que o sinal só vive com problemas.
O que realmente está acontecendo? Tem que levar a cópia dos documentos para acessar a internet?
Ao caminhar pela Avenida Maranhão na manhã desta sexta-feira (03) me deparei com uma cena que é de fazer vergonha, e parece que os próprios moradores vem jogando lixo na praça pública, causando transtorno aos frequentadores da praça da avenida.
Os lixos são colocados na calçada da praça e no canteiro da área. Infelizmente, nossas praças e avenidas são tomadas por diversas sacolas de lixo, as chuvas acabam espalhando esse lixo e piorando a situação.
